Romantik Alpenhotel Waxenstein

We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly man who showed us to our rooms and explained the facilities in and around the hotel. Our rooms were great and nicely decorated. We paid a little extra to have them with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Highly recommended. There was a tea/coffee maker in the room, as well as fabulous slippers, bath ropes and plenty of towels. Nice toiletries. The swimming pool and spa are small but lovely, with plenty of sunbeds inside and out. We were lucky with the weather and were able to have breakfast outside. There is a nice buffet with lots of choice. Free spacious parking.

Very welcoming & friendly reception staff..so pleasant . Good breakfast & excellent cake & coffee on the one afternoon we were able to have it. Good location , short walk to the village. Our room had a breathtaking mountain view...could not be surpassed.

The hotel is located in a beautiful environment and walking distant from a small authentic village. We were travelling with our dog and this hotel is extremely welcoming. They even prepared some snacks for our dog! The food served in the restaurant is a bit expensive, but also delicious so worth the money. We would definitely come back!

Very beautiful and quite fancy hotel. The staff in the reception was always friendly and helpful, we could book tickets for the Zugspitze directly with them. The view from our balcony was amazing!

The room was super cute and had amenities to borrow for activities in the area. The balcony had an amazing view. The pool and spa were very clean with a beautiful view.
